“ Delish with a view. Great spot for lunch. Had the clam chowder crab cakes and garlic chips fries. All wonderful but will have major garlic breath later. So worth it. And the view cant be beat. Sitting out on the bay. Beautiful day. Listening the the seagulls cry. ”
“ Garlic and fish? What more can you ask for. Delicious food cooked very fast. Reasonably priced. Whether you want clam chowder, traditional seafood or fried goods this place is awesome. The most garlicy garlic fries Ive ever had. Incredible food with tasty ingredients. Hot and fresh with a nice atmosphere by the water. ”
“ Best damn clam chowder weve ever had!!! Comes in a bread bowl which is also a plus! The calamari is also delicious. Quick service and employees were very friendly. Must try place if youre in the area! They also validate parking with a purchase! A ”
“ Overall great experience, Im not sure if they had a limited menu because I came during closing hour, but the clam chowder was very good, creamy But not too heavy. And there was a lot of sourdough that complemented the soup. The staff was very nice and they made the meal quite quickly. The views outside were very pretty and they had a bathroom inside. Good time here and definitely a good bang for your buck restaurant. ”
“ The food is so delicious, must try if you will be visiting fishermans wharf ”
“ Excellent food and a nice big dining room! Also surprisingly good prices for being in such a touristy area. We were checking out the Musee Mecanique and because it was raining as we left, we wanted somewhere inside to sit and eat. Boudin next door was a ZOO, and we were in the mood for some fish and chips, anyway. So we headed over here and were not disappointed! The fish was fried perfectly even with pankostyle breading, it was seriously perfectly crispydidnt get soggy even with lemon juice squeezed across it, the garlic fries use fresh garlic, and the clam chowder was seriously some of the best New England style chowder I have ever had. Plus the dining room is eclectic and fun, and there is a great view of Alcatraz Island from the back windows. A really picturesque place to sit and have lunch. We will definitely eat here again when down in this area. I was shocked at how not busy they were for how good the food and prices are! Come try this place! ”
“ Some of the best clam chowder I have ever had and if you can you have to try the soft shell crab sandwich. It comes with a super generous portion from garlic fries which are absolutely amazing. The staff also closed the door for me so I could enjoy my food without getting too chilly. The price is very reasonable too, so definitely try it out!! ”
“ Love this place. Appears to be a hidden gem. 99 of the people pass by this place to go to the overhyped Fishermans Grotto etc. I had the shrimp and chips and my mom the fish and chips. The food was very good, service was prompt and friendly and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food and given the location. Would definitely recommend, especially if you like garlic. The garlic chips are delicious. ”
